    Nytapetserat!

    När vi flyttade in i vårt hus målade vi alltsammans väldigt vitt. Kanske hade vi nog med spänning, med en 4-åring, en 2,5-åring och 2 nyfödda bebisar. Och med rivstart i en renovering som innebar i  princip allt. Och framför allt – att göra huset för en familj från två-familjshuset. Det ena gav det andra kan man säga. Ganska raskt började vi dock fylla huset med tapeter och slutligen var det bara de öppna ytorna som band ihop alla separata rum som var vita och neutrala. Jag älskar att gå från rum till rum och när känslan ändras med väggarna. Så jag vill inte säga att jag jublade när alla barnen ville måla över sina tapetserade rum. Till vitt och grått. Men de är så pass stora nu så de måste få bestämma själva, hur skulle det annars vara? Fast jag sticker inte under stol med att det var direkt jobbigt. Som om tapeterna blev en symbol för livets förgänglighet.

    Vår övervåning där nu barnen huserar blev trist, så grå, så vit. Barnen var nöjda men jag kände att hela vårt hus andades minimalism och det kändes så himla fel.  Men så kom jag på att göra precis tvärtom. Att tapetsera alla de öppna ytorna! Jag tänkte att på så vis skulle vi tydligt få in tapeter igen. Jag tänker att här kan jag gå loss och sen kan de stänga dörren till sina minimalistiska världar. Men innan blir de tvungna att passera det brokiga och härliga, vare sig de vill eller inte. Så först ett par tapeter – sen är min plan att göra varenda liten vinkel och vrå brokig – ni fattar va?!

    Måla dörrar, en och annan karm, pärlsponten, slipa golvet, sätta glas i vindsdörren och upp med lite bårder på det! Vårt trapphus och öppna hall är stor så det finns helt klart möjligheter. Nu är det jättenytapetserat, så möblera och röra till det som jag tänker har verkligen inte hunnits med. Men fortsättning följer!

    Nu kanske någon tänker, men du – ska barnen inte få ha sin minimalism. Nej verkligen inte tänker jag. Vårt hus behöver nämligen tapeter och jag också. Och vet ni vad, alla de fyra barnen häpnande när de kom hem i fredags. De tyckte det var tusen miljarder finare än innan och Nomi kunde tänka sig att sova där. Jag visste väl det, lite tapet kan aldrig skada.

    Vi valde tapeterna tillsammans. De båda kommer från Sandbergs kollektion Löfstad  som jag jobbade med under våren. Vi ville att hallen fortfarande skulle kännas ljus och mjuk och att tapeten liksom skulle omsluta de stora, öppna ytorna. Jag ville absolut inte ha en tapet med hårda kontraster, jag tycker helt enkelt inte om det. Alla gånger jag valt en sådan tapet konstaterar jag att det blir fint på bild men jobbigt att leva i. Därför är  Charlotta perfekt! Vi valde Spring green. Faktiskt hade jag inte kikat på den här färgställningen innan men så sa en kompis ” men den här då” och så fort den kom upp som prov så såg vi alla att den var perfekt. Och på nära håll är detaljerna så fina.

    Vårt trappräcke var överbyggt under en stor bokhylla. Vi har inte ”hunnit” fixa ändknoppar. På tretton år… Ledstången låg på vinden, den är fasligt vacker tycker jag. Däremot har de som bodde här tidigare förstört den stora ektrappen som finns under den målade trappen – vilket grämer mig. De har helt sonika sågat av trappnosen! Så himla trist, för trappen är egentligen mörknad ek och så vacker. Men hur återställer man något sådant?

    Att kombinera tapet med bröstpanel är fint tycker jag, så mycket i samma vägg. Jag har en plan att måla denna i en pudrig nyans som finns i vårt ena badrum.

    Den är lilla hallen är verkligen svår att veta hur och varför den kom till.

    Det är så hemligt där. Ibland tänker vi på att ta bort väggen, andra dagar att sätta in ett överljus.

    I gästrum No 13. Där var det nämligen så att man tapetserade i tid och otid men alltid föll tapeterna ner. Då valde man istället att måla direkt på väggen.

    Visst känns den som ett konstverk där på väggen. Förövrigt vill jag bara flagga för glas i gamla dörrar, så fint.

    Längtar till att få fortsätta här. Men redan nu känns huset tillbaka till sitt gamla jag. Jag tänker att det måste vara tricket när barnen kommer in i den minimalistiska tonåren. Att ösa på där man kan liksom.
